Where your mail goes: nowhere
imaily talks to your mail provider over IMAP, from your Mac, and stores what it learns in a small database on your Mac. There is no imaily server. The one outside call is the AI that writes the briefing: subjects, senders and short snippets go to the AI provider under your own API key. Turn images off and senders cannot even tell you opened their mail. Nothing is ever hard-deleted — "bin" means your provider's Bin folder, where you can undo it.
